Seeking a new partner !

The Daily Scoop has been in hibernation for a very long time (since we closed our doors in 2012). It is very flattering that every now and then previous customers ask the same question over and over again:

"When can we get The Daily Scoop gelato and sorbet again?"

The truth is nobody really knows, but I am considering to do something about it. In fact I am offering my help to the first person that shows enthusiasm and determination to produce the best gelato in Australia (again) and compete with the best in The Royal Sydney Show in 2017. Here are the main points if you think you're the right person (or if you know someone who is - pass it on):

  • Start a new enterprise or add ice cream production to something you already have (restaurant, cafe, dairy farm, tourism operation)
  • Be prepared to learn the art of making gelato and sorbet to the traditional European recipe
  • Setup an ice cream production facility with quality equipment
I will spend time with you to assist in setting up the business as well as train you in production using my own recipe. We will pilot the new enterprise during Spring/summer 2016/2017 and enter into the Royal Sydney Dairy Show in 2017 to compete with the rest of Australian frozen dairy dessert manufacturers!
